After two years of interruption due to the health crisis, an 100% women team is back in Pondicherry.
Eliana Gottardi, Katjia Thommen and Sophie Commerman osteopaths; Nathalie Desmaele art historian and garden enthusiast, have answered present.
OBJECTIVES :
to continue the treatments given to the children with the participation of the mothers and/or fathers at the « Satya Special School »;
activities and various works at the school « Kripalaya School for Differently Abled ».
TRAITEMENTS À LA « SATYA SPECIAL SCHOOL » :
In October 2022, the team of osteopaths had the joy of returning to « Satya Special School », an institution supported by « Akka ».
This team particularly wanted to emphasize the relationship with the students' parents by involving them in the treatments so that they could act accordingly towards their children.

TREATMENTS AND ACTIVITIES AT THE « KRIPALAYA SCHOOL FOR DIFFERENTLY ABLED » :
For the first time, the team of osteopaths went to the « Kripalaya School for Differently Abled » to practice well-being sessions.
A moment of complicity while remaining in a playful setting that leaves room for imagination and fun.
VARIOUS WORKS AT THE « KRIPALAYA SCHOOL FOR DIFFERENTLY ABLED » :
Thanks to the financial participation of the team (Eliana Gottardi, Katjia Thommen, Nathalie Desmaele and Sophie Commerman), other projects were carried out.
1. The creation of an educational garden including a space dedicated to fruit trees, aromatic plants and a vegetable garden which has for vocation :
- to welcome the children of the school so that they can have :
times of discovery;
more sustained moments dedicated to learning;
breaks for recuperation, relaxation and games.
- to make the school self-sufficient by using the garden's produce for daily meals in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner.
2. The installation of batteries to ensure the stable operation of the school's electrical equipment during power cuts.
